This Privacy Notice applies to the processing of personal data through the demitrend.hu website operated by DemiTrend.

2. Personal data processed

When the contact form is used, the Data Controller processes the following data:

• last name;
• first name;
• company name;
• email address;
• phone number;
• purpose of the enquiry;
• content of the message;
• website address, if voluntarily provided by the data subject.

The message may also contain additional personal data voluntarily provided by the data subject.

3. Purpose of processing

The purpose of processing is to enable contact, respond to enquiries, provide requested information, discuss services and prepare a potential business relationship. Data submitted through the contact form are not automatically used by the Data Controller for newsletters or direct marketing.

4. Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for processing data submitted through the contact form is the data subject's consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

Where an enquiry concerns steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, processing may also be based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

5. Data retention period

Personal data relating to an enquiry are retained by the Data Controller for no longer than 12 months, unless the enquiry results in a contractual or other legal relationship, or a longer retention period is required by law.

6. Processors and recipients

The Data Controller uses LITE Consulting for website and domain services and RackHost for electronic mail and hosting services. These service providers may process personal data to the extent necessary to provide their technical services. Personal data may be accessed only by persons and service providers for whom such access is necessary to handle enquiries or operate the website and email service.

7. Cookies and tracking

The website does not use cookies or tracking technologies for analytics, advertising, marketing or profiling. Only technical data or session mechanisms strictly necessary for the operation and security of the website may be used.

8. Automated decision-making

The Data Controller does not use automated decision-making or profiling in relation to personal data collected through the website.

9. Rights of data subjects

The data subject may request access to, rectification or erasure of their personal data, restriction of processing, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Requests may be submitted by message through the contact form.

10. Complaints and legal remedies

A data subject who considers that the processing of their personal data infringes applicable data protection law may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) and may also seek judicial remedy.

11. Data security

The Data Controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, deletion, destruction, accidental loss or damage.
